In preparation for a target production go-live in Q1 2025, the Anthic smart contracts and a dApp website for testing are now live on the public Radix testnet.
This is a full end-to-end build, running with live price feeds being streamed in by our market maker partners, test trading capability using flash liquidity, and test solver bots matching orders as they would in production.
When we set out to build Anthic, we were laser focused on a way to aggregate liquidity from across the crypto space into a single, unified DeFi environment. Our view is that all assets, and all liquidity across crypto should be usable as a fully composable DeFi building block.
With the go-live of Anthic on the Radix testnet, we have made a giant step towards that goal. Anthic is expected to go live on the Radix mainnet with at least 25 of the top crypto assets available to trade, and plans to keep expanding to cover the top 100 and beyond.
Not only that, thanks to Radix pre-authorizations, Anthic will provide gas-free trading, done at lightning fast speed — with trades typically completing within 5 seconds or less. All while converting all trading fees into XRD, and returning 70% to the Radix ecosystem.
The testnet dApp website is live at https://trade-demo.staging.anthic.io/ where you can connect your Radix Wallet and try out trading on Anthic yourself. See the instructions below to connect your Radix Wallet to the Radix public testnet, Stokenet.
Features include:
- Live indicative price streams from high liquidity venues
- Aggregated pricing from market makers to provide best price offer
- Live test APIs for integration testing
- Live solvers bundling and submitting TXs in seconds
- Live test deployment of Instamint
This testnet dApp website is for demo purposes only. Once Anthic is live on mainnet, user trading across Anthic will be done via existing Radix DEX dApps (CaviarNine, Ociswap, Astrolescent etc), which will combine Anthic’s deep liquidity with their own on-ledger AMM pools to provide the best price possible for every trade.
Basic developer documentation is now also available at: https://docs.anthic.io/
Plus the developer SDK which wraps the Anthic API: https://github.com/anthic-io/anthic-sdk
These docs are still in draft form and are in the process of being updated for mainnet release.
If you are interested in using Anthic for running trading algorithms across the Radix ecosystem, you can trade directly through Anthic using the Trade API.
Lastly, if you are interested in market making on Anthic, please reach out to us at partners@anthic.io
Have a great Christmas, and we’ll see you next year, ready for Anthic mainnet.
Connecting Your Radix Wallet to Testnet
To connect to the Anthic demo dApp website, you will need to configure your Radix Wallet to use the Radix public testnet, called Stokenet. To do this, you’ll point your Radix Wallet to the Radix Stokenet gateway, create a new Stokenet account, and get test XRD tokens only for use on Stokenet.
You can do this by following along with the steps in this video: https://youtube.com/shorts/i-W0uUl5dyk
IMPORTANT: Your accounts on Stokenet are separate from those on Mainnet, and assets on Stokenet (including XRD) are for testing only and have no value. When you’re done, be sure to switch your wallet back to the Radix Mainnet by switching back to the Radix Mainnet gateway in your wallet settings.
